Terms of sale and delivery

Version 1, [date]. These terms apply to every order placed with Estonian Oak.

1. Who you are buying from

Estonian Oak, a trading name of [Company Name] OÜ, registry code [registry code], registered office [registered address, Tallinn, Estonia], UK VAT registration [UK VAT number]. Email info@estonianoak.com, phone [phone].

2. Quotes and orders

Every quote is a delivered price in pounds sterling, including transport, customs clearance, UK VAT, delivery to the room and assembly, unless the quote says otherwise. A quote is valid for 30 days. An order is confirmed when we receive your written approval of the quote and drawings and the deposit has arrived.

3. Made to order

Our furniture is made to your sizes and finish after you order it. Please check drawings, dimensions and finish samples carefully before approving them: production starts from the approved drawing, and changes after that point may cost extra or add time.

4. Payment

5. Lead time and delivery

Typical lead time is [8–12 weeks] from confirmation. We confirm a delivery week when the furniture leaves the workshop and a delivery day at least 48 hours ahead. Delivery covers mainland Great Britain; Northern Ireland and islands are quoted separately. Please make sure the room and access route are clear on the day.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel free of charge until production starts. Once production has started, made-to-measure furniture cannot be resold, so the deposit covers the work done. Where you are a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under UK consumer law, including the rules on goods that are faulty or not as described.

7. Guarantee and problems

Construction and finish are guaranteed for [X years] from delivery under normal indoor use. Solid wood moves with humidity: small seasonal changes in grain, colour and dimension are natural and not defects. If something arrives damaged or wrong, tell us within 48 hours with photographs and we will repair, replace or refund the item.

8. Upholstery and timber compliance

Upholstered items are supplied with the fire-safety labels and certificates required by the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988. We keep records of timber species, origin and supplier for every order in line with the UK Timber Regulations.

9. Law

These terms are governed by [Estonian law / the law of England and Wales]. Consumers in the UK keep the protection of UK consumer law regardless.
